Dark, mouldy or crumbling grout makes a clean bathroom look dirty, and lets water get behind the tiles. We rake out the old grout and refill the joints, in cement or longer-lasting epoxy grout, so the tiles look new again without retiling.

How we do it
Check the tiles
We check for hollow tiles and leaks first. Regrouting will not fix a tile that is loose underneath.
Rake out old grout
Old grout is removed to a proper depth without chipping the tile edges.
Regrout
Joints are refilled with cement or epoxy grout in the colour you choose, pressed in fully so there are no gaps.
Clean and cure
Tiles are cleaned of haze. We tell you how long to keep the area dry before using it.

Cement grout or epoxy grout?
Epoxy grout resists stains, water and mould much better and suits showers and kitchens. It costs more and takes longer to apply. Cement grout is fine for dry areas.
How long until I can use the shower?
Usually 24 hours for cement grout. Epoxy needs a similar time to cure. We will confirm on the day.
Can regrouting stop a leak?
It helps if water is getting in through cracked grout. If the waterproofing underneath has failed, regrouting alone will not fix it. We will tell you which it is.
