How we do it
Find the cause
We check for active leaks, damp and movement. A stain will come back if the water is still coming in.
Open up and repair
Loose paint and plaster are removed, cracks opened and filled, and holes patched.
Skim and seal
Repairs are skimmed smooth, sanded, and stains sealed with a stain-blocking primer.
Repaint to blend
We repaint the whole wall or ceiling panel so the repair does not show as a patch.

Are wall cracks dangerous?
Most hairline cracks are in the plaster or paint and are cosmetic. Wide, growing or diagonal cracks in structural walls should be checked by a professional engineer. We will tell you if what we see needs that.
My ceiling stain came back after painting. Why?
Either the leak is still active, often from the unit above, or the stain was painted over without a stain-blocking primer. We check both.
Can you just touch up the patch?
Touch-ups often show as a different shade, even with the same paint. Repainting the whole wall gives an even finish, and we will quote both so you can choose.
