How we do it

  1. See the trees

We look at the tree, how tall it is and what is nearby, and agree what to cut.

  2. Make safe

We set up safely, clear the area below and keep away from wires and fences.

  3. Prune properly

Cuts are made cleanly at the right points so the tree heals and keeps its shape.

  4. Clear the cuttings

Branches and leaves are gathered and taken away, and the area swept.

What affects the price

  • Number, height and size of trees
  • Access and equipment needed
  • How much needs to be cut
  • Disposal of cuttings

Questions

Can you remove a whole tree?

We trim and prune. Large trees, trees near power lines or trees that may need approval need a specialist, and we will tell you honestly if yours does.

Do I need permission to trim a tree?

Trees in your own private compound usually do not, but trees in common areas, on state land or protected trees may have rules. Check with the management office or the relevant authority.

Will the tree grow back well?

Yes, when it is pruned at the right points and not cut too hard. We advise how much is safe to take.
