Epoxy floor paint
A seamless epoxy coating turns dusty, stained concrete into a hard-wearing floor that wipes clean. It suits storerooms, workshops, back-of-house kitchens, shops and car porches. The result depends on preparation, so that is where we spend the time.

How we do it
Surface check
We check for moisture, cracks and old coatings, which affect whether epoxy will bond.
Grind and repair
The surface is ground to open it up and remove weak layers. Cracks and holes are filled.
Primer and coats
A primer, then base and top coats, applied evenly. Anti-slip can be added for wet areas.
Curing
The floor is left to cure before use. We tell you when it is ready for foot traffic and when for heavier loads.
What affects the price
- Floor area
- Condition of the concrete and any old coating to remove
- Coating thickness and system (paint coat or self-levelling)
- Anti-slip or colour requirements
Every job is different, so we quote after seeing the site, or from your photos for simple jobs. The quote is itemised and free.
Get your exact quoteQuestions
How long before I can use the floor?
Usually light foot traffic after about a day, and full use after a few days, depending on the product and weather. We plan around your opening hours where we can.
Can epoxy be applied over tiles?
It is possible with the right preparation and primer, but grout lines may show through. We will advise after seeing the floor.
Is epoxy slippery?
A smooth finish can be slippery when wet. For wet areas we add an anti-slip aggregate to the top coat.
