How we do it
Site visit and layout
We measure the space, mark the position of the wall and door, and check the ceiling and floor.
Quote
You receive an itemised quotation with the wall type, door and finish.
Frame and board
A metal frame is fixed to floor and ceiling, then boards are fitted on both sides, with insulation if you want better sound control.
Skim, paint and clean
Joints are taped and skimmed smooth, painted to match, and the area cleaned.

Is a partition wall soundproof?
It reduces sound a lot, especially with insulation and double boards, but it is not as heavy as a brick wall. Tell us how quiet you need it.
How long does it take?
A typical partition takes a few days including skim and paint. Your quote states the schedule.
Do I need approval before building a partition?
It depends on the premises. HDB and condo homes have renovation rules, and commercial layouts can be affected by fire safety requirements. Tell us where it is and we will advise what usually applies. Please confirm with the relevant authority or your management office.
