Peeling or dated wallpaper is easy to start removing and hard to finish well. Leftover glue and torn plaster show through new paint. We strip the paper, clean off the adhesive, repair the wall underneath and repaint, so you get a smooth finish.

How we do it
Test and protect
We test how the paper comes off and protect floors and furniture.
Strip and clean
Paper is scored, softened and removed, then the remaining glue is washed off.
Repair the wall
Torn plaster and dents are patched and skimmed, then sanded smooth.
Prime and paint
A sealing primer goes on first, then two coats in your chosen colour.

Can you paint over wallpaper?
It is possible but not recommended. Seams and bubbles usually show through, and the paint can make the paper peel. Removing it gives a far better result.
How long does it take?
A typical room takes one to two days including repairs and painting, depending on how the paper comes off.
There is mould behind my wallpaper. What now?
We clean and treat the affected area and use a mould-resistant primer. If damp is coming through the wall, we will point out the likely cause.
