How we do it
Measure and plan
We measure the room, note where pipes, beams and lights go, and agree the layout and drop height with you.
Quote and design
You get an itemised quotation with the ceiling type, lighting troughs and finish.
Build the frame and fix boards
A metal frame is fixed to the ceiling slab, then boards are fitted and joints taped.
Finish and clean
Joints are skimmed smooth, ready for painting, and the area is cleaned.

How much headroom will I lose?
Usually around 10 cm for a flat ceiling, more where it hides trunking. We keep the drop as small as the pipes allow.
Can I still reach the aircon and pipes?
Yes. We plan access panels where servicing is needed.
Can you add downlights or cove lighting?
We build the ceiling with the cut-outs and light troughs. New electrical points and wiring must be done by a licensed electrical worker, and we will tell you what is involved.
