How we do it
Test patch
We test a small area to choose the right pads and show you the result before doing the whole floor.
Protect and prepare
Skirting, furniture and nearby surfaces are covered against slurry.
Grind, hone and polish
Diamond pads in progressively finer grits remove scratches and level the surface, then bring up the shine.
Seal and clean up
A sealer helps resist stains. We clean up and explain how to care for the floor.

How long does marble polishing take?
A typical room takes about a day. A whole unit can take several days, depending on the condition of the floor.
Is it messy?
Polishing is a wet process that produces slurry, so we cover skirting and furniture and clean up each day.
Can it remove all stains?
Surface stains and etching usually come out. Deep stains that have soaked into the stone may only lighten. We will tell you after the test patch.
Do you polish marble-look porcelain tiles?
Porcelain is cleaned and treated differently from real marble. Send us a photo and we will confirm which you have.
