How we do it
Assess the area
We check the base, drainage, and the condition of the frame and boards, and agree the material.
Build or repair the frame
A level frame is set with proper gaps for drainage and airflow, or the existing frame is repaired.
Fix the boards
Boards are fixed with corrosion-resistant fasteners and even gaps.
Treat and finish
Cut ends are sealed and the deck is oiled or coated to resist sun and water.
What affects the price
- Area and shape of the deck
- Material (hardwood, composite or treated timber)
- Frame work and drainage needs
- Refinishing or replacement of boards
Every job is different, so we quote after seeing the site, or from your photos for simple jobs. The quote is itemised and free.

Which material lasts longest outdoors?
Hardwood and composite both last well. Composite needs less upkeep. We explain the trade-offs for your space.
Can I add decking on my balcony?
Rules and weight limits differ for HDB, condo and landed homes, and the floor drain must stay accessible. Check with HDB or your management office, and we will advise.
How often does a deck need maintenance?
Timber decks typically need oiling or re-coating once a year. We advise a schedule for your material.
